A final year student of YABATECH has actually lost his life in a fight. He was a student of Civil Engineering. Osatuyi Tosin popular called Moore died a day after he sat for his final HND examination
According to The Punch newspaper,it was reported that after he sat for the final examination, he decided to join his friends to celebrate their victory as a final year students on campus
The students wrote on their T-shirts with markers and they also took pictures during the celebration.
In the Tejuoso area of Yaba, Osatuyi and some of his friends proceeded to a sports viewing lounge in order to continue their celebration, not knowing that was the last day for him.
After a while, a fight broke out in the lounge where Osatuyi was really injured in the process. He was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. All effort by medical doctors to save him failed.
Osatuyi who was an Ondo state indigene was actually the class governor of his class before he went to the worms. His remains are in the hospital as he was buried on the 30th of July, 2021.
Students of Yabatech have scheduled to hold a candle light event in his honour today, August 3.
