The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has narrated how he actually healed his ex-girlfriend’s son, which happened many years ago.
In his preaching, the seventy nine year old preacher said he used to have a lot of girlfriends. It was when he met Christ that he stopped everything.
He said that in all the girlfriends he had dated, he actually met one. In his preaching, he said; “ I told you that before I gave my life to Jesus Christ, I had many, many girlfriends. But among them all, there was one I did everything with, but I won’t tell you the details.”
“Then, we separated. She went her way, I went my way. We didn’t see for years, she got married, I also got married.
Pastor Adeboye narrated that after he has given his life to Jesus for a meantime, he was working in the University of Ilorin, looking after the little church. His ex-girlfriend’s husband was also transferred to Ilorin.
The lady though gave birth, but the child was lame. Someone then told her that there is someone who can pray for the child, and the child would be back to normal.
After she heard this, she left for the mission house and decided to see the pastor, not knowing it was her ex-boyfriend. Pastor Adeboye narrated that she entered the office and was surprised to see him as the pastor.
The Preacher said that the woman didn’t know he has given his life to Christ; Old things have passed away, all things have become new. He said they made a simple pray and the child began to walk.
