Julius Sunday, the father is six has been apprehended by the police for allegedly defiling his four daughters. His daughters aged seven, ten, eleven and fifteen respectively.
According to The Punch newspaper, Julius who lived in Alimosho area of Lagos State was arrested on Monday after his wife reported him to the nearest police station.
It was gathered according to City Round that he defiled his eldest daughter seven years ago. He was released then due to intervention of neighbours and his relations.
However, his wife , Semiat reported that Julius usually committed crime in the middle of the day when she goes to work or at the middle of the night when everyone is asleep.
Semiat stated that they got married in 2007 and have six children together. Reports says she is 36-year-old woman and she sells herbal mixture. She said: “Our first daughter who is now 15 years reported to me seven years ago that whenever we were asleep at night, he would sneak to where she slept, lie on her, and fondle her private parts.”
Semiat said that the matter was settled then and they moved on, not knowing he was still the same.
The first child said that she was actually defiled by her father one day after Arabic lesson. She said her father removed her clothes, slept with her and released sperms into her private parts. She said her father told her that if she reports the matter, she will be killed.
Semiat, their mother, said that she once caught Julius on bed with one of her daughters. She accused him of defiling her child, but he denied it. She didn’t know that he has even defiled her youngest daughter.
All the four daughters were defiled by their father and they feared to speak because he threatened to kill them.
The Commissioner of Police in Lagos has confirmed the issue and has directed the gender unit of the police command to take care of the issue. Investigations are going on and they are awaiting results. Once they have gotten that, they will deal with the culprit.
